I have to be honest, I’m not a big fan of affiliate marketing. I don’t think it’s the best way to make money online. In fact, I think there are better ways to earn an income online than affiliate marketing. But there are some things that you can do with affiliate marketing that will help you make some extra money and give you a little bit of an edge over your competition.
So here are 3 simple tips for making money online:
1) Offer Free Stuff – One of the biggest problems that affiliate marketers have is getting traffic to their websites. They spend hours and hours building sites that nobody visits because they’re afraid to put ads on them or use pay per click advertising.
So what do you do? You offer free stuff! Offer free reports, ebooks, software, etc. And then you put a link in the resource box at the bottom of your page that says something like “Click Here To Download This Free Report”. Now if you have a site that gets a lot of traffic, you’ll see a huge increase in your traffic.
2) Promote Other People’s Products – Another thing that you can do to make money online is promote other people’s products. There are literally thousands of products out there that people are selling on eBay and you can find some great ones by doing a Google search for “eBay affiliate programs”.
All you have to do is find a product that you think would sell well and then find a niche market for it. Then you promote the product using the same method as number 1 above. For example, if you found a product on eBay that sells for $30 and you know that there is a market for it in the weight loss niche, you could promote it as a way to lose weight.
3) Start A Membership Site – If you really want to make money online, you should consider starting a membership site. These sites work very well because they require members to pay a monthly fee in order to get access to the information that you provide.
You can set up a membership site on just about any topic that you can think of. The beauty of this is that you don’t need to know much about the topic in order to write good articles. All you need to do is research the topic and write some articles about it. Then you can put a link in your resource box that leads people to your website where they can sign up for your membership.
